Is It Spelt Flutist?

Today I found out another amazing YouTuber! She is Melissa.Flutes.

Melissa.Flutes is a flutist(?) who plays songs like Let it Go, Happy, Demons and others.

They are so totally amazing! She gets every song who does perfectly. I can't believe it! Some people have all the talent.

Here is my favourite piece by her:

It is Happy and she has totally got it!

Letter to Future Friends

So Azia did a letter to her future friends and she invited other people to do it as well. So here I go:)

Dear future friends,

I am the girl everyone thinks of as weird. I will most likely make you cringe. I quite often will bore you to death. But we will have a great time. I try never to say anything bad about anyone.  I'm sure we will be best friends:) I don't really know what else to say. So I will just say that I promise that you won't regret ever being my friend!

Your friend,
Willow

Results!

Hi guys! I have the results of the writing contest. Thank you everyone who entered! The winner is.....Eve from Eve of Womanhood:)

Cotton candy!

Friendship is like cotton candy.
It may be sweet,
but after a while,
it dissolves and disappears.
People grow apart,
they change so quickly.
The sweet sugary taste doesn't last forever.
The person you could once trust with every little secret,
is now the one who tells everything about you.
The one you laugh with,
makes you sad in the end.
Friendship is like cotton candy.
Yes, it is sweet,
but everything has an ending.
Everything has to dissolve sometime.
Sometimes but only sometimes,
friendship can be something more than just cotton candy.
Sadly,
I haven't experienced a friendship like that yet.

.......

I found this really beautiful! Thank you so much for entering Eve:)

Please email at hannahmarym@outlook.com for your prize!

Blogging Tip:Write Regularly

Today I thought I would start a bit of a blogging tip series! It will be done in no real order, these posts. Just what I feel like writing at the time:)

Today's tip is to write regularly. Now you don't have to write everyday like, me, but it is a good idea to write often, not once every two months or so.

The reason for this is because you will loose readers if you don't post. Your readers look for new content every time they visit and after a while of seeing no new content they will stop visiting.

A way to make sure you write regularly is to write your posts ahead of time. When you have a spare moment and are looking for something to do, go write a post.

Another thing you can do is make schedule your posts. This way you won't have to stress about remembering to post them. Trust me, I know all about this:P

My last suggestion if you're not an everyday blogger is to make set days to publish your posts on and that way you will know you have to get it done!

These are just a few ideas. I hope it helps:)

P.S I will tell you who won the writing contest in a few days!

The Lifesaver

After deciding to write everyday on my blog, I only found one problem. You see I thought it might be a good idea to write my posts ahead of time so if I didn't end up having time to write the post I would have one to go.

Well that was ok. I had no problem writing the posts. But the problem came when I had to publish the posts.

The first one was fine. I just hit publish and walked off, but the next day I very nearly forgot to publish the post. I had thought I had done everything I had to.

I never wanted to forget to publish a post again and so I found the best lifesaver! It's the schedule button. I can't believe I never saw it before.

Now I schedule my posts and they're always on time! What could be better?

Thank Azia for telling me about schedule!

Please Like!

You see today I had this brilliant idea (or not). I have been thirteen for months and I never joined Facebook. I never really saw a point in it, until today.

I was reading some of my favourite blogs and then I saw a post which caught my eye. It was about how the owner of the blog had set up a facebook page for her blog.

Not even knowing that was possible, I went and did a little bit of research. I was soon learning how to make myself my own facebook page!

So yes, know I'm on facebook. I never thought I would join, but I have:) If you are on Facebook, please friend me and like my page!

HERE is the link to my profile and HERE is the link of my page:D

Chapter Two//The Decision

As Joe entered the house she saw her Aunt May shaking her head.

"I told Jake that it was a bad idea to come here at this time of year," she told Uncle Bruce. "It was just asking for trouble." She looked up and saw Joe.

Joe turned away. She felt worse than ever. Her aunt was right. They shouldn't have come, they should have stayed home.

Joe headed up the stairs towards her bedroom.

"Joe, wait!" her mum called, but Joe didn't stop. She broke into a trot. Kate, her mum, sighed and let her go.

...

In her room, Joe pulled out the locket she had found one day under the hedge at home. She had been very young when she had found it.

Kate had told her it was from the fairies. Even though Joe hadn't ever told anyone, she still believed in fairies.

The locket had the words:

Wish and you will get. Look and you will find. Dream and you will go far. Follow your heart!

Joe loved the words. She believed they held a secret power that she just had to find.

"Joe!" Kate called from outside Joe's door.

Joe hurriedly shoved the locket back into her drawer and locked it. She swung off the bed and opened the door.

"It's dinner time," Kate told her daughter.

Joe followed her mother downstairs.

...

The doctor looked grave. "It's not good," he told Kate. "He has damaged his spine," the doctor said some other things that Joe didn't hear. He has damaged his spine kept floating around her head.

By the time Joe and her mother left the hospital, Joe had made up her mind. She knew just what she was going to do.

She didn't talk about it to her mother. She knew her mother would never let her do it, but she had understood enough of what the doctor had said to know that her father could die.

Kate tried to make things seem better, but Joe knew her mother better than to be fooled by what she said.

...

As soon as Joe got home she race up to her bedroom. She pulled out her locket, some jumpers, pants and phone. She put them all into a bag and hid the bag in her wardrobe. She then pulled out some note paper.

She knew what she wanted to say, but for some reason she couldn't get it down onto the paper. She sighed and put down the pen. She would write the note later.

Kate knocked on the door. "You OK?" she asked popping her head around the door. She was worried. Joe had hardly said anything, she had just gone straight to her room.

"Fine," Joe said, sitting down on the screwed up pieces of note paper.

Kate decided that Joe wanted to be left alone and she closed the door and went back downstairs.

...

That night when everyone was asleep, Joe hopped out of bed and grabbed her phone. She dialled the number of a boy she had met a few days ago.

"Hello?"

"Hi Alf, it's Joe," Joe said.

"What's up?" Alf asked. He was a strange boy, but even for him this was a weird hour to be ringing at.

"I think I need you to repay that good deed I did," Joe told him. When she had first arrived here she had found Alf. He had been sitting by the river looking angry. His step-dad had found out about him owning a motor bike and ordered him to get rid of it.

Joe had taken a liking to Alf at once and she offered to hide the motor bike in the garden of the house she was staying in.

"What do you need me to do?" Alf asked Joe.

"I need you to take me somewhere!"

I hope you guys liked this. My last chapter got good feedback and so I hope you like this lot!

Deciding to be an Every Day Blogger

I have found out that choosing to be an 'every day blogger' is harder than you would think. I have been wanting to do this for a while, but I didn't really do much about it until now.

I have been reading quite a few new blogs recently and I have seen so many everyday bloggers. They're blogs are so awesome and well kept up to date. In fact I have found that the everyday bloggers are the ones who have the best content on their blogs. (Though I do follow a lot of good other blogs which have create content).

The past few days I have been getting really serious about blogging everyday. I have a few reasons why I should do it and a few why I shouldn't do it.

My main reasons I want to do it is because I enjoy blogging so much and I like writing and making friends. But there are a few things holding me back. I have no idea if I will have the time to put in the effort or if I will be able to think up enough things to write about.

Finally I made up my mind. I decided it would be worth the effort to become an everyday blogger. I think that if I work hard I really can keep this blog going everyday.

So here I am, heading out into a huge challenge! Wish me luck:)

Chapter One//The Guilt

Joe stared at the camera in her hand. She wanted to throw it away, far away, but something held her back.

She didn't know what it was. She was angry with the camera, with herself, with her dreams. If it wasn't for them everything would be ok.

Sighing, she put her camera down. She put her head in her hands and wept. She wept for ages, until she had no more tears.

It was all her fault. If only she hadn't asked to go photography challenge. Her father wouldn't have gotten hurt, he would be in hospital.

Joe felt a hand on her arm. She looked up and saw her mother.

"It's all my fault," Joe wailed. She buried her face in her mother's shoulder. Her whole body shook, but she couldn't stop the tears.

"It's ok," her mother soothed. "It's ok. Nothing's your fault. Everything will be fine, I promise!"

Joe looked at her mother. "It is my fault! If I hadn't made you and Dad take me here Dad wouldn't be in hospital."

"It's not your fault. It's no one's fault. How could you have known this would happen?" Joe's mother asked, looking her daughter in the eye.

It didn't make Joe feel any better though. She felt it was all her doing. That everything would be ok if they hadn't come here.

Joe's mother passed her a tissue. "Come on, Uncle Bruce and Aunt May have to come to see how things are."

Joe got to her feet. She sighed and walked back down the cliff to the house where they were staying.

I hope you liked that! If you would like me to post some more of this story, please comment.

Duolingo

Hi! A little while ago I decided I wanted to learn Chinese (don't ask me why). Well today I changed my mind.

You see I don't really want to learn Chinese, I just thought I did when I got told I had to learn a language (luckily I didn't start learning it).

Beth has been using this amazing site called Duolingo to learn French. When I heard about it I went and had a look at it.

It looked amazing, so I signed up and now I am going to learn German. (I do want to learn this one.). I have already taken the first lesson.

I now know the words, ein, Frau, Junge, Sie and some others. Isn't that awesome?

I can't wait to learn more!

Writing Contest Entry

Here is my entry for Eve's writing contest! Sorry it's nothing special, but I am not very good at this sort of thing:( I will have to practise!

The girl looks out the window.
She sighs and turns away
"No one will ever come."
She has been in the tower for what seems like forever
"When will my prince come?"
For ages she waits.
She gives up all hope.
Then suddenly, out of the blue someone comes.
He climbs up the tower.
She turns and sees him.
"You have come at last!"
The prince rescues the girl and takes her away.
In the prince's castle, on a hill, they live happily ever after!

I don't know what kind of writing you would call this. It's just something I made up.  I hope you liked it!
